I own OneXPlayer’s [X2 Mini Pro](https://averagetechnerds.com/onexplayer-x2-mini-pro-review/), a handheld built on the Ryzen AI Max+ 388, so when I saw the PRO 495 from that same chip family land in a new OneXPlayer, my immediate thought was, yeah, it was just a matter of time, and there it is. The Super X Pro is a 14-inch 2-in-1 with up to 192GB of memory, and it’s already listed on OneXPlayer’s store.

Bottom line up front

## So what does this mean for the *Average TechNerd*?

The Super X Pro is OneXPlayer’s 14-inch tablet with a kickstand and a magnetic keyboard, now with the Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 and 128GB or 192GB of memory. OneXPlayer’s store lists it at $4,699 with 128GB and $7,999 with 192GB, both with a 4TB drive, plus $80 for a version that connects to OneXPlayer’s $199 Frost Bay liquid cooler for up to 120 watts.

For the Average TechNerd, it is the first 2-in-1 with this chip, according to OneXPlayer, and at $7,999 it costs more than any other 192GB 495 machine priced so far. The extra memory is aimed at large local AI models. The rest of the chip is a small step over the 395 in the existing Super X, which costs $2,899 with that chip. No shipping date is listed, and nobody has tested it.

## How much does the Super X Pro cost, and when does it ship?

$4,699 with 128GB of memory or $7,999 with 192GB, and there’s no shipping date yet. Both come with a 4TB drive, the magnetic keyboard and a protective bag. A liquid-cooling version of each costs $80 more. Both are new versions of the Super X tablet OneXPlayer already sells, and they showed up on its [store](https://onexplayerstore.com/products/onexplayer-super-x?ref=averagetechnerds.com) on October 12\. Early coverage, [Wccftech](https://wccftech.com/onexplayer-super-x-pro-first-to-cram-am-ryzen-ai-max-495-in-a-2-in-1-192-gb-memory/?ref=averagetechnerds.com) included, reported that pricing hadn’t been announced, but the store listing was already live.

## How big an AI model can it run?

Up to 300 billion parameters, depending on the model, according to OneXPlayer. It says up to 160GB of the 192GB can go to the graphics. The chip is the same Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 as in the other 495 machines on this site: 16 cores, Radeon 8065S graphics and memory shared between the processor and graphics.

Memory speed still needs confirming, because OneXPlayer gives two numbers. Its [spec sheet](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0557/8535/7492/files/PC-24%5F6f0d1538-fc34-4df7-8285-a921e96527a8.png?ref=averagetechnerds.com) lists the whole series at 8,000 MT/s, while its marketing image for the Pro says 8,533 MT/s and 273 GB/s.

## What are its specs, and what changed from the Super X?

A Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 with Radeon 8065S graphics, 128GB or 192GB of memory and a 4TB drive, in the same body as the Super X. Only the processor, memory and storage changed. Everything else is shared: a 14-inch 2880x1800 AMOLED screen at up to 120Hz, a CNC-machined aluminium chassis 12.5 mm thick at its thinnest, a kickstand that opens to 173 degrees, and an 85.58Wh battery with a 240W charger. The screen also has variable refresh from 48Hz, a 500-nit rating, 100% DCI-P3 coverage and stylus support. The standard version weighs about 1.3 kg, the liquid-cooling version 70 g more, and both run Windows 11 Home.

## What ports does it have?

Two USB4, one USB-A, HDMI 2.1, a microSD slot and a slot for Mini SSD cards, a small removable storage format, alongside the internal full-size M.2 2280 drive. There’s no OCuLink port, so an external graphics dock would connect over USB4.

## Can a tablet keep a 120-watt chip cool?

OneXPlayer says yes with [Frost Bay](https://onexplayerstore.com/products/frost-bay-for-onexfly-apex?ref=averagetechnerds.com), its $199 external liquid cooler, at the chip’s full 120 watts. On air alone, nobody knows yet: the Pro has two fans and a vapor chamber, and OneXPlayer hasn’t said what it sustains with those, or how long the battery lasts under load. Frost Bay has been on sale since the original Super X.

Frost Bay only attaches to the liquid-cooling version, which has an extra connector on the back, so if you want it, pick that version when you order.

## Is $7,999 a lot for a 192GB 495 machine?

It’s the most expensive one priced so far, though unlike the desktops and mini PCs in the table below, it comes with a screen, a keyboard and a 4TB drive. HP’s [ZBook Ultra G3a](https://videocardz.com/newz/hp-reveals-7449-price-for-ryzen-ai-max-pro-495-laptop-with-192gb?ref=averagetechnerds.com), a clamshell laptop with [the same chip](https://averagetechnerds.com/ryzen-ai-max-pro-495-192gb/) and memory, is listed at $7,449\. The 128GB Super X Pro, at $4,699, sits $700 above iBuyPower’s [128GB mini PC](https://averagetechnerds.com/ibuypower-pro-ai-halo-mini-pc-ryzen-ai-max-pro-495/).

## Who is the Super X Pro for?

Someone who wants 128GB or 192GB of memory for local AI in something they can carry. Asus’s [ROG Flow Z13](https://rog.asus.com/us/laptops/rog-flow/rog-flow-z13-2025/spec/?ref=averagetechnerds.com), the closest 2-in-1, stops at 128GB with the Ryzen AI Max+ 395, on a smaller 13.4-inch screen and with a shorter 2230 drive slot. For gaming, the 495 is a small step over the 395, and the existing Super X costs $2,899 with the 395\. Two things will decide whether the Pro makes sense: how much of the 495 it can use away from the liquid cooler, and when it actually ships. For me, it’s expensive as heck for a power-limited tablet.

Would you carry 192GB of memory in a tablet, or does a 495 belong in a desktop? Share how you would use one.

Based on OneXPlayer’s store listing and spec sheet and the coverage linked above, as of October 13, 2026\. Prices and availability may change; nobody has tested the Super X Pro yet.
