How I work

Where the facts come from

Numbers, prices, dates and specs trace back to a primary source: the maker's own page or store, official documentation, or the original announcement. When I use another outlet's reporting, I link it. If I can't confirm something, it's left out or marked as unconfirmed.

Announced, shipping or rumored

I say which one a product is. Rumors only show up when a reputable outlet is reporting them, and they're labeled as rumors.

Hands-on articles and review units

Hands-on articles start from my own videos and my own use of the device. I'm open to review units, with no promised verdict, score or publish date, and brands don't see anything before it's published. Every hands-on article says whether I bought the device or it was sent to me, and if it was sent, whether I kept it or sent it back.

How I use AI

AI is part of how the articles here get written. The hands-on articles start from my own videos, testing and opinions, and AI helps me shape them into articles. For the news pieces, it helps me research and summarize, with the sources linked. I'm responsible for everything that's published, and the opinions I give are always my own.

Corrections and updates

If something's wrong, I fix it and add a note saying what changed. I also come back to hands-on articles at 1, 3 and 6 months with what I've learned since, and those updates show up in the weekly digest.

How the site is paid for

I pay for it myself, hosting and domain included. No ads, no sponsored posts, no paywall, and no selling your email. There are no affiliate links either, and if that ever changes to help cover hosting costs, I'll say so here.
